Recently the Greater Houston Partnership reported that the Houston area economy has recovered, replacing 101 percent of jobs lost to the recession. Jankowski is a member of the Texas Economic and Demographic Association, the National Association for the Business Economics and the Commercial Real Estate Research Forum. Currently, he is president of The Houston Economics Club and he serves on the board of the Washington-based Council for Community and Economic Research. Jankowski has worked for the Greater Houston Partnership and its predecessor, the Houston Chamber of Commerce, for 30 years.

Each year GTACC offers its annual economic outlook at the February First Friday networking luncheon. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Elmer L.
