Tomball’s Reeves to compete in Mrs. Texas American pageant

reeves Christine Reeves of Tomball, a committed volunteer and mother was chosen to compete for the title of Mrs. Texas America June 13 from a field of applicants received from throughout the area.

Reeves’ commitment to raising her children with a strong sense of giving back through volunteering were significant factors in her being chosen for the title of Mrs. Tomball.

“I strongly believe that using my educational background and experience for volunteering and raising money for programs is important,” Reeves said. “I want my children to see that giving back is an essential part in helping out their community.”

Reeves will compete in three categories for the Mrs. Texas title: personal interview, swimsuit and evening gown. Contestants for the Mrs. Texas America pageant must be married and live in the city or county they represent. The winner will receive a prize package worth thousands of dollars and will go on to compete for the title of Mrs. America in September in Tucson, Ariz. The Mrs. America Pageant is the only nationally televised pageant for married women in the country.
