At left, Waller County Constable Glenn White recently conducted a Child Identification Program at Field Store Elementary.

Each of the more than 600 children who attend Field Store Elementary participated in this program. As part of the program, Child Identification Cards will be sent home to the parents in the event of helping identify children who have gone missing.

Information that was collected from each student included latent fingerprints and a current photograph. This information will be sent home to the parents for safekeeping and for future reference.

According to White, more than 800,000 children go missing every year–one every 40 seconds, 450,000 children run away, 300,000 are abducted by family members and 50,000 are abducted by non-family members.

Anyone interested in having this vital information taken on their children should contact White at 936-931-1914, or e-mail him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
