Tomball PD recognizes own during annual awards ceremony

chambers The Tomball Police Department recently held its annual awards dinner and ceremony, during which members of the department volunteers from the community were honored for their “hard work and dedication,” Police Chief Rob Hauck said.

 

Det. Albert Chambers (left) was named Officer of the Year “for his significant, consistent and lasting contributions to the department and its public safety mission to protect and serve the community,” Hauck said.

 

Rookie of the Year Award went to Officer Stephen Tucker “for his consistent demonstration of exceptional competency and job performance ability within the first two years of employment,” Hauck said.

 

Cpl. Jimmy Harral was named Supervisor of the Year, Records Specialist Janet Barcelona was deemed Civilian of the Year.

 

Other award winners were Sgt. Rebecca Carlisle, who won the Wayne Stoval Police Service Award, Lt. Anthony Solomon for the George Olin Police Leadership Award. Kelly Hill was named Police Volunteer of the Year.
