Magnolia Education Foundation donates $30,000 to MISD

mef check

The Magnolia Education Foundation (MEF) recently presented Magnolia ISD with a check for more than $30,000 for this year’s grant cycle. There were 17 grants awarded, including four individual and 13 department grants. Over the past eight years, the MEF has provided Magnolia ISD teachers with more than $327,000 in individual and department grants. This year, the “Dollar Project” raised more than $8,000 that will be added to next year’s grant cycle. The “Dollar Project” consists of donations made by Magnolia ISD employees through direct deposits.
