Obituaries for the week of Dec. 26, 2011

BATTLEY - Aubrey James “Bud” Battley, 77, of Spring, passed away December 10, 2011. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Klein Funeral Home-Magnolia. Memorial services were held at Klein United Methodist Church with Dr. Orin Smith officiating. A private committal was held.

 

COX - Alvin “Button” Cox, 59, of Magnolia, passed away December 11, 2011. Memorial services were held at Klein Funeral Home Chapel-Magnolia with Pastor Doug Bartsch.

 

EVANS - Carolyn Evans, 63, of Pinehurst, passed away December 19, 2011. Visitation was held and funeral services were conducted at Magnolia Funeral Home.

 

HARBOUR - Dr. William Thomas Harbour, 79, of Tomball, passed away December 18, 2011. Visitation was held at Klein Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were conducted at Klein United Methodist Church with Dr. Orin Smith officiating. Interment followed at Klein Memorial Park-Pinehurst.

 

HOLMES - James William Holmes, Jr., 57, of Montgomery, passed away December 18, 2011. Funeral services were held at Klein Funeral Home Chapel-Magnolia with Rev. Tim Niekerk officiating. Interment followed at Perry Cemetery.

 

NOSKI - Florence Noski, 88, of Magnolia, passed away December 17, 2011. Visitation and rosary were held at Magnolia Funeral Home. Funeral mass was held at St. Matthias Catholic Church. Interment followed at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.

 

RICHARDSON - Marjorie A. Richardson, 90, of Spring, passed away December 18, 2011. Visitation was held at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball. Memorial services were conducted at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. David Schultz officiating. Burial will be held at Forest Park Westheimer at a later date.

 

SHAFFER - John Nelson Shaffer, 68, of Hockley, passed away December 16, 2011. A memorial service was held at Magnolia Funeral Home. 

SIMON - Paul B. Simon, 69, of Waller, passed away December 19, 2011. Visitation was held at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball. Funeral services were conducted at Christ Fellowship Church with Rev. Arthur Purvis, Wayne Rodgers, Steve Mercer and Scott Logan officiating. Interment followed at Klein Memorial Park.

 

SIMS - Lyda Mae Sims, 90, of Spring, passed away December 13, 2011. Funeral services were held at Klein Funeral Home Chapel-Tomball with Dr. Orin Smith officiating. Interment followed at Hallettsville City Cemetery in Hallettsville, Texas.
