“I was so excited when I found out my ACT score and I knew immediately that Kansas Weslayan was the next step for me,” McFaddin said. “It is a great achievement to be able to play for the university.”

McFaddin plans on studying history and has a goal of becoming a teacher and football coach after college graduation.

McFaddin credits his success to his father, Waller coach Andrew McFaddin and coach David DeVous for inspiring him. Alex’s mother, Nancy, said that she was “very excited and proud of him” when they received the news.

Kansas Weslayan receiver coach Drew Dallas said, “I am glad Alex met his dream. We are very excited to have him. We always look for quality students with excellent athletic ability. Alex will help us continue with our winning tradition.”
