Waller Volleyball Update |
|
The Waller Lady Bulldog varsity volleyball team finished the first round of district play tied for fourth place with Montgomery with a 4-3 district mark and 27-9 overall record. On Sept. 28 the Lady Bulldogs were beaten by the No. 3 state ranked Magnolia Bulldogs (14-25, 18-25, 14-25). On Oct. 1 Waller was defeated by the 16th ranked Brenham Cubs (15-25, 19-25, 25-21, 10-25). Morgan Heise was the kill leader for the week with 13. Kamryn Dimas led the team with 27 assists. Emily Wood led the team with 26 digs. Senior Paige Thomas (pictured) was Player of the Week for the Lady Bulldogs.
