|
The Bulldogs’ defense held the Raiders to negative offensive yardage for most of the evening. Northbrook finished with minus 10 rushing yards and 77 passing yards for just 66 total yards of offense. Northbrook was held to six first downs, with four of them coming in the fourth quarter. Waller’s Colton Robinson and Hunter Schmidt each had interceptions. Offensively, the Bulldogs had their best performance of the year. Waller racked up 16 first downs, 350 rushing yards and 54 passing yards. Deandre Bell was 3 of 6 passing for 54 yards, including a touchdown pass to David McDade. Bell also had 15 carries for 135 yards and three touchdowns. McDade, in addition to his touchdown reception, had 11 carries for 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns. On special teams, Colton Robinson (pictured) blocked a punt which Nick Stubblefield scooped up and scored. Robinson was named special teams Player of the Week.
