Waller two-sport star signs with Blinn |
|
Waller High School senior Trent Rape signed a letter of intent with Blinn College in Brenham to play baseball for the Buccaneers. Rape alternates as the school’s varsity baseball team’s pitcher and third baseman and played defensive end on the varsity football team. He plans to study Biology with the hope of becoming a Marine Biologist or Game Warden. Rape said he grew up with a love of baseball since his Little League days and is “thankful for his God given talent.” He said he still visits the Little League baseball fields to help mentor young players as a coach and umpire.
