UH’s Keenum to speak at First Baptist Church of Tomball

keenum Case Keenum, quarterback for the University of Houston Cougars, will speak during the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services of First Baptist Church of Tomball on Sunday, May 1. Keenum will talk about his faith, his abilities and how he keeps everything in perspective. There will be a free hot dog lunch, autograph signing and a drawing for door prizes at 12:15 p.m.

Keenum is one of only two players in NCAA Division 1 history to record multiple 5,000-yard passing seasons. He set a school single-season record with 5,671 passing yards and was poised to set every UH career passing record. However, in September 2010, Keenum suffered a season-ending injury in a game against UCLA. He has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA.
