Cougar football returns with annual spring game

red white game The Tomball Cougar football team will hold its annual Red and White Spring Games on Thursday, May 19 featuring appearances rom the Houston Texans Cheerleaders.

 

The Freshman teams will play at 4:40 p.m., followed by the Junior Varsity/Varsity game at 6:30 p.m.

 

The games are an annual scrimmage between the Cougar offenses vs. the defenses in preparation for the 2011 high school football season.

 

The games are free to attend and will feature kids’ activities including a football throw, a teacher dunking booth face painting and an obstacle course. The games will also feature a silent auction. Barbecue plates will be available for $10 each.

 

Between the evening’s two games, members of the 2010 Cougar playoff team will be honored.

 

The game’s honorary captains will be Tomball Police Chief Rob Hauck, Tomball Fire Chief Randy Parr, Tomball ISD Superintendent John Neubauer and Deputy Superintendent Huey Kinchen.
