Cougars name new baseball coach

tomball baseball Doug Rush has been hired as the head baseball coach at Tomball High School. Rush began his education career in 1986 in Denton ISD, where he coached high school baseball and football.  He has also worked in Waller, Alvin, Killeen and Spring ISDs. During his 25 year career coaching baseball, Rush was a pitching coach at Lee College in Baytown. In 1994, Rush earned a Master of Education at the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science at North Texas State University in 1986.
