Magnolia All-Stars win Tournament of Champions

magnolia allstars The Magnolia Youth Football Association (MYFA) Freshman Longhorns finished the season 9-1 and entered the Tournament of Champions in the Gold Bracket. It was decided to create Magnolia All-Stars, combining the forces of the Magnolia Cowboys and Magnolia Longhorns.  Colton Kalhoefer, Kolton Munoz, Sayer Swinford, Brady Bierman, Brandon Seidmeyer, Jaydon Nelson, Gaige Sanders, Jax Mills, James Wolmack, Nathan Allbritton, Trey Legget, Noah Jones and Tyler Leleux make up the combined squad.  The All-Stars won their first game Nov. 26 in the pouring rain and high winds, placing them in the championship against South County.  It was a close contest, with the game knotted at six until the final seconds of the game. The Magnolia All-Stars then scored a game clinching touchdown to win it. The team is coached by Stuart Albritton, Larry Legget, John Munoz and Jordan Swinford.
