Waller cross country squad grabs honors

waller cross country Several Waller High School cross country runners earned 17-4A district honors. (From left) Alyssa Vigil earned Academic All-District, which is awarded to athletes who maintain a 90 cumulative grade average or better during their sports season; Katrina Fite earned All-District and also advanced to the regional meet; Katelyn Rochen and Rachel Rawlings both earned Academic All-State. Academic All-State is awarded to senior athletes who maintain a 92 or better cumulative grade average over the course of their high school career; Coach Edwards, who presented the honors at the December school board meeting.
