E.C.H.O. announces plans for annual golf tourney

Normal 0 The E.C.H.O. Foundation benefiting Tomball Regional Medical Center (TRMC) announced last week plans for its seventh annual golf tournament to be held at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course on Aug. 31.

All proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the Robert F. Schaper Heart Center Cardiac Cath Lab at TRMC.

Registration begins at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Enjoy goodie bags, raffle and prizes for competitions, such as “Hole-in-One,” Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Tiger Drive, Closest to the Cow and Hit the Gorilla.

Individuals or teams of four may sign up for the tournament. Online registration is also available at www.tomballhospital.org/echo or by calling the Foundation office at 281-401-7928.

“We are thrilled to have the golf tournament for the seventh consecutive year,” said Marilyn Kinyo, Director of the E.C.H.O. Foundation.  “We hope all attendees enjoy the exciting tournament while helping the E.C.H.O. Foundation improve the types of services Tomball Regional Medical Center can offer to the community.  It truly is a blessing to participate with good golf, good fun all for a good cause.”

The E.C.H.O. Foundation was created in 1996 to advance the philanthropic and charitable contributions for improving healthcare services and programs at Tomball Regional Medical Center. Funds raised by the Foundation are use to further the hospital’s mission as a non-profit organization.  The E.C.H.O. Foundation and Tomball Regional Medical Center are dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of Northwest Houston.
