Lady Bulldogs knock off rivals Magnolia West in volleyball

5 On Oct. 6 the Magnolia Lady Bulldogs and Magnolia West Lady Mustangs squared off in an 18-4A volleyball contest at Magnolia West High School. The Lady Bulldogs needed four sets to fend off their same-city rivals, winning three games to one. Courtney Felinski led the Lady Bulldogs in kills with 20. The win improves the Lady Bulldogs to 6-2 in district, while the Lady Mustangs fall to 1-4 in 18-4A play. Pictured, Magnolia West’s Karli Nanny (7) and Sophia Alexiou (9) set up a play against the Lady Bulldogs. See more photos in the “Photo Galleries” section.
