| UIL regroups Waller, Magnolia, Magnolia West in realignment |

On Feb. 1, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) released the biennial reclassification and realignment for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 school years. The new alignments were established by enrollment numbers submitted to the UIL by its member schools in October. Waller ISD is reassigned to District 17-4A, along with Northbrook, Stratford, Spring Woods, Montgomery, Brenham, Magnolia and Magnolia, and will be competing against these schools in UIL football and basketball games. Huntsville, Caney Creek and Willis have been placed in another district and will not compete against Waller High School in district games during the two-year period.
