The following Magnolia swimmers and divers qualified for the State Meet:

Laykin Lowry in the 500 and 200 freestyle, and 200 and 400 medley relay

Erin Plachy in the 200 IM, 200 and 400 freestyle relay, and the 200 medley relay

Lauren Benner in 100 breaststroke, 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay

Matt Korman in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke

Erin Dake in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay

Maclane Fulvio in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay

Spencer Mather and Collette Moeder in 1 meter diving

Mackenzie Childs in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and 200 and 400 freestyle relay

The Magnolia West girls set the tempo for the meet during the first event, winning the 200 medley relay and automatically advancing to the state meet. That team is

comprised of Allie Sullins, Noel Niccum, Bailey Bodway and Erin Giles. The team also qualified for state in the 200 freestyle relay and in all of their individual events: Sullins in the 100 backstroke and in the 100 fly, Niccum in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 IM, Bodway in the 200 and 100 freestyle and Giles in the 50 freestyle.

The boys team will send all three relay teams to the state meet: the 200 medley squad of Hunter Prichard, Josh Lamb, Jacob Sloan, and David Giuseppetti; the 200 freestyle relay team of Giuseppetti, Mitch Stephan, John Devine and Brendan Costello; and the 400 freestyle team of Costello, Devine, Mitch Stephan and Travis Clifford

Among the boys who qualified for state individually were Lamb in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke, Costello in the 200 and 500 freestyle, Clifford in the 500 freestyle and Alex Happe in Diving.
