Waller’s Gilliam third Bulldog to sign football scholarship

gilliam signing Waller High School senior Glen Gilliam recently signed a letter of intent to play college football for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. Gilliam’s signing marks the third Waller High School football player from this year’s varsity football team.  

 

Gilliam plans on studying kiniesiology and credits his achievements to his mom, Linda Roush, and brother, a 2004 Waller High School graduate. Gilliam said that he looks forward to attending college and is preparing by taking Advanced Placement classes, which will assist him in college. 

 

Gilliam was named 18-4A Academic All-State in football this year for having a minimum of a 92 average or above in academics during his high school years. He was also named 18-4A Academic All-District.
